Here we Goooooo!

I am already well into my weight loss journey but I figured I would go ahead and start a blog so I can see and share my progress.

There are a couple of things that are going on currently. I recently finished the Fort Riley Biggest Loser where I lost 21 pds in five months. I am proud of this but know I could have done better. During this time my husband was deployed for Operation New Dawn and we have a daughter who is three. This was a very hard year as I suffered a miscarriage right before he deployed. After the miscarriage my husband left about three weeks later which the combination lead to binge eating. I now look back and am amazed at everything I consumed during the first couple of months of his deployment.

It wasn't until June of 2011 when I decided to step on the scale. I weighed 220 pds which was my highest every and I knew I had to do something. I had put on a little over twenty pounds while my husband was gone. I decided to join Fort Riley's biggest loser which helped a lot and decided to join Weight Watchers as well.

I didn't follow everything about weight watchers and was pretty lazy about working out and then something clicked and I am not sure what it was. The dieting and the weight loss began. I started to notice a difference in my engery and my food habits. I am not going to lie there were days when I didn't care. I wouldn't work out and I wouldn't follow Weight Watchers at all.

My husband came home November of 2011 and was very proud of me. He got a month of leave and I gained three pounds of my weight back as I wasn't watching what I was eating. I have recently started back up and can't wait to see the results.

I love taking classes at our gym. My favorite are spinning and zumba. I don't really enjoy working out on my own. Oh yes and there is the trainer :) I recently got a personal trainer who I start with on Monday.

I hope I can keep up with this post even if no one reads it. Blessings
